I can get a 16g used iPod gen 6 for $170. We are trying to decide between getting her an iPod or upgrading our phones and handing down an iPhone 6 to her for her upcoming birthday. Many of her friends have either phones, iPads or iPods and communicate with each other through imessenger or texting. My oldest is turning 10 and has been asking for a phone.
